Cherries from Telemark, brown ale and years of mixed culture. Le Grand Mélange is the name - and that's exactly what it is.

Expert description of Lervig Rackhouse Le Grand Mélange 2019

Le Grand Mélange By Rackhouse is a Sour in the Flanders Oud Bruin style from the Norwegian brewery Lervig in Stavanger. The beer is a special blend of several of the brewery's mixed culture projects, combined with a brown strong ale and cherry juice from Telemark. The result is a complex sour beer with sweet notes of red fruit and vanilla, melding with wood and caramel flavours and a distinct tartness.

Lervig is one of Norway's most acclaimed craft breweries, known for both classic IPAs and advanced, long-aged sour beers under the Rackhouse label, where Le Grand Mélange belongs.
