Le Gin de Christian Drouin Pira is a French small batch gin from the Calvados house Christian Drouin, bottled at 42%.
The gin combines the Norman pear variety Domfront with juniper, vanilla, lemon, black pepper and iris root.
Like the rest of the house's gins, each botanical is distilled separately before being blended in unique proportions to highlight the pear's fresh, floral character.
Pira won the title of World's Best Signature Botanical Gin at the World Gin Awards in 2024, a recognition of Christian Drouin's expertise in fruit-based distillation.
