A refreshing drink for both men and women.

Ingredients:

Procedure:

Add ice cubes to the Highball glass.

Then pour in the whiskey and sparkling water with the lime juice.

Finish by adding the lemon zest as a garnish.

Tip

If you still find it too strong, you can add more sparkling water and lime juice to taste.

The Highball is an extremely popular drink in Japan and was created because the Japanese love to enjoy alcohol with their food, which makes it incredibly difficult to drink straight whisky while eating. Therefore, they have added sparkling water and ice without ruining the taste.


Japanese Highball first became popular after World War II when the economy wasn't strong enough to afford drinking straight whiskey, which led to mixing it with sparkling water.
