Green Spot is one of Ireland's oldest and most beloved whiskey brands, with history dating back to 1887, when the Mitchell family's grocery business sold its own bottlings of local whiskey. The style is softer and more summery than the full-bodied, oily character found in Redbreast. The colour is golden maple syrup with amber-tinted edges. The nose offers grated citrus and orange peel, melding with barley malt and malt sugar. The palate evokes Ireland's soft, grassy hills: green apples, cloves and velvety oak sweetness.
