Glenfiddich XX Experimental Series is a Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky matured in 20 different cask types, selected by Glenfiddich's brand ambassadors and bottled at 47%. XX Experimental Series was created by a group of Glenfiddich's own brand ambassadors, each of whom was allowed to select a cask they believed would add something special. The 20 chosen casks — a mix of bourbon, sherry and wine-type casks — were then married together into a single whisky.

Tasting notes

Nose

Ripe oranges, spiced oak and a light caramel sweetness.

Palate

Complex and rich with layers of dried fruit, spice and a slight citrus tang.

Finish

Medium and spiced, with a final hint of dark chocolate.
