Fary Lochan distillery in Give, Jutland, was founded in 2009 by Jeff Callaway and is Denmark's first single malt distillery. Grain is sourced locally and seasonal distillations are a hallmark of the operation. Batch 02 uses peated malt as its base with a finishing period in port wine casks that adds sweetness and fruit to the smoky character. Bottled non-chill filtered with natural colour.
