A whirlwind of peat and complex malty flavours, young whisky with great taste. Tasting notes: Color: Golden amber Nose: Very fresh and herbal with notes of vanilla, pears, freshly ground black pepper, honey-glazed ham, Turkish coffee and resin. When water is added, the herbs become even more prominent and especially vitiver and fennel can be sensed. Added to this are aniseed, green apples and leather. Taste: A full-bodied and explosive mouthfeel with lots of chocolate, tar and smoked bacon. These notes are followed by eucalyptus and more aniseed. Finish: A long and salty finish with notes of cocoa, butterscotch and salty meat.
