Ardbeg An Oa Single Islay Malt Whisky is composed in the distillery's purpose-built 'Gathering Room' vat, where whisky from different cask types — including ex-bourbon, new oak and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks — is blended before bottling, bottled at 46.6%. Ardbeg Distillery was founded in 1815 on Islay's south coast and is known as one of the island's most heavily peated producers, today owned by Moët Hennessy.
