The name Grande Garrigue is a tribute to the wild, fragrant scrubland that spreads across the southern French hillsides, leaving its mark on both the air and the wine.

    Expert's Description

Alain Jaume Grande Garrigue Vacqueyras 2020 is a Red Wine from Vacqueyras, France made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, bottled at 14.5% ABV.

Vacqueyras sits right next to Châteauneuf-du-Pape and shares the same warm climate and stony soil. Alain Jaume's Grande Garrigue cuvée is named after the fragrant scrubland of rosemary, thyme and bay leaf that surrounds the vineyards, clearly traceable in the wine's spicy character.
