A rhubarb with royal history hides inside this bottle: the variety originates from Buckingham Palace's kitchen garden during Queen Victoria's reign, and is now grown on the Crown Estate for Warner's.
Expert's description
Warner's Rhubarb Harrington Gin is an English fruit gin from Warner's Distillery, made with freshly pressed rhubarb juice and bottled at 40%.
The gin blends freshly pressed rhubarb juice, making up around a third of the bottle's contents, with the distillery's award-winning Harrington Dry Gin.
The rhubarb is pressed the traditional way, and the juice is added without artificial colour or flavour, giving the gin its natural pink hue.
Base botanicals include juniper, coriander seed, elderflower, cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon, angelica root, orange peel and lemon peel, alongside a secret ingredient.
Warner's Distillery was founded by Tom Warner on a farm in Northamptonshire and is known for using fresh, farm-grown ingredients straight from its own fields.
