Vedrenne was founded in 1923 by Joseph Vedrenne in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the heart of Burgundy, and is today a French family business known for its fruit liqueurs, including the iconic Crème de Cassis. Crème de Mûre is made using the same quality process as the house's other fruit liqueurs, with selected blackberries giving the liqueur its characteristic ruby-red colour.
