  Tranum Mølle Dild Akvavit is a Danish aquavit at 42% ABV from Tranum Mølle Destilleri.

  The distillery is housed in the cellar beneath the old Tranum Mølle, a grain mill dating from the early 1800s that stood abandoned until it was revived in 2018 as a modern distillery in Vendsyssel. Here, aquavit is distilled in small, handmade batches with dill as the leading flavour — true to the classic Danish aquavit tradition, where either caraway or dill must dominate. The distillery was named Distillery of the Year in Denmark in 2019.

  Tasting Notes

  Nose

  Fresh, herbaceous dill stands out clearly, supported by a light touch of grain.

  Palate

  Clean and direct with dill at the centre, balanced by a mild sweetness and a lightly spiced undertone.

  Finish

  Short to medium, dry and fresh, with a final hint of dill.
