The Tiki Mug Large Mouth Mug 65 cl is a ceramic mug from the Tiki Mug range, sculpted with a brown tiki face and a striking, wide-open mouth, with room for a 65 cl drink.
Where many tiki mugs carry a subdued, serious expression, Large Mouth goes the other way with an exaggerated, almost comical roar. The wide opening also makes the mug practical to drink from and easy to fill with both ice and garnish without having to squeeze anything through a narrow neck.
Design & Material
The mug is cast in ceramic and hand-glazed in brown tones, so the contours around the large mouth and the rest of the facial features stand out sharply. The thick ceramic wall holds the cold from the ice cubes longer than an ordinary glass.
Use & Recommendation
The mug is built for fruity, exotic cocktails such as a Mai Tai, a Zombie or a Colada Crusher, where the 65 cl leaves plenty of room for both drink and garnish. Hand washing is recommended, so the glaze and the detail around the mouth stay looking good for years to come.
