A cheeky chappy from 1930s Glasgow lives on in a glass. Citrus, caramel and exotic fruit dance through this light Lowland blend.

    Expert description

The Epicurean is a Lowland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, assembled by the Scottish bottler Douglas Laing purely from malt whisky sourced from several Lowland distilleries and bottled at 46.2% ABV.

The concept behind The Epicurean tells the story of a fictional 1930s Glasgow man, a real cheeky chappy and true connoisseur who valued good company as much as good taste, a spirit reflected in the blend's accessible, charming style.

The whisky belongs to Douglas Laing's series of "Remarkable Regional Malts", each representing a Scottish region, and The Epicurean is the house's take on the best of the Lowlands.
