Talisker Special Releases 2022 Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled at natural cask strength. The whisky combines Talisker’s smoke, sea salt and peppery spice with a youthful energy that brings both freshness and depth. It has been matured in a combination of American and European oak casks, creating a balanced profile of sweetness, spice and coastal character.

The aroma opens with salty sea air, citrus oil, gentle peat smoke and a pronounced pepper note typical of Talisker. Layers of vanilla, green apples, toasted oak and a light mineral tone reminiscent of wet coastal stones also appear. The high strength lifts the aromas without feeling sharp.

The flavour is full, lively and intense. Maritime notes of salt, seaweed and sea spray mix with fresh lemon, ripe fruit, vanilla and a clear smoke that is more spicy than heavy. Talisker’s signature black pepper and chili heat stand out and give the whisky a warm, vibrant mouthfeel.
