St-Germain was created by Robert J. Cooper and made its world debut in 2007, after which the brand was acquired by the major spirits company Bacardi in 2013. The elderflowers are hand-picked at the foot of the French Alps in Haute-Savoie and macerated in grape spirit within 48 hours of harvest to best preserve the fresh aroma.
