Dill leading ahead of caraway and citrus, in a style borrowed from the other side of the Öresund. Knut's Akvavit honours a sainted duke whose memory is still celebrated in guilds today.

    The Expert's Description

Spirit of Hven Knut's Danish Akvavit is a Danish-style akvavit from Spirit of Hven, 43.6% alcohol.

This akvavit is a tribute to Knut Lavard, whose memory still lives on in the region's old Knutsgilder guilds, which historically functioned as both a financial network and a social safety net, and which are still celebrated with feasting and joy today. With its Danish-inspired style and a somewhat higher strength, Knut's stands apart from the other editions in the Hven Akvavit Collection.
