Southern Comfort is an American whiskey liqueur blending whiskey with natural fruit and spice flavours, bottled at 35% ABV.

The liqueur was created in 1874 by bartender Martin Wilkes Heron at McCauley's Tavern in New Orleans, Louisiana, originally under the name "Cuffs and Buttons". Southern Comfort is today owned by the American spirits company Sazerac, which took over the brand in 2016 and has focused on bringing more whiskey character back into the recipe.
