Silvio Carta Sambuca is an aromatic and intense Italian sambuca that captures the essence of Sardinia’s sun‑drenched terroir and the deep craftsmanship of Silvio Carta. This sambuca is based on a classic recipe where star anise takes the lead, supported by carefully selected herbs and spices, all grown locally on Sardinia. The result is a spirit with both authenticity and character.

Production begins with the distillation of grapes and grains to create a clean, neutral alcohol base. This base is then infused with star anise and aromatic herbs, which are slowly distilled to extract the most delicate and complex flavour nuances. This gentle process results in a sambuca with depth, richness and a pronounced yet elegant anise profile.

The aroma is intense and spicy, with clear notes of anise, liquorice, herbs and a touch of sweetness. The flavour is rich, rounded and full‑bodied, offering layers of anise, liquorice root, herbs and warm spices, finishing long, smooth and aromatic.
