The rum has matured in both ex-Bourbon casks and Marsala casks, giving it a complex and nuanced flavor profile. After maturation, the rum is bottled at 57% ABV in February 2025 and is not chill-filtered, preserving its rich flavor and character. S.B.S Jamaica 2016 WPL is a rare rum, limited to only 376 bottles and bottled exclusively for the Danish market.

Upon the first nose, you are greeted with aromas of bourbon-vanilla, apples, and dried fruits, enriched with a hint of leather. This inviting aroma immediately reveals the complexity present in the rum.
