The name comes from a 350 year old word for rum, and the bottle looks pulled straight out of Professor Cornelius Ampleforth's own laboratory.
Expert description
Rumbullion XO 15 Year Professor Cornelius Ampleforth Rum is an English spiced Rum, blended from Caribbean rums aged up to 15 years and bottled at 46.2%.
Behind the eccentric name stands Ableforth's, an English spirits house founded in 2011, which blends the aged rums with Madagascan vanilla, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. The XO expression builds on the original Rumbullion, using older, more complex rums at its core and a higher strength, giving it more weight and spice depth than the standard release.
