Much like Ron Millionario - which is a Solera (blend) of rums around 15 years old - the XO version is a Solera of rums from 15 - 20 years old. It is one of South America's oldest rums and the casks are carefully selected by the brand owner - Fabio Rossi. Only the very best casks are made into XO - and it is thus a very limited edition. Nose: Heavy orange, light tobacco, sugar sweetness, a complex aroma of spices enveloped in sweetness and caramelized tropical fruits. Taste: First sweetness, then spices that draw out, then sweetness again. Hints of nougat, candy, figs and dates.
