Niña was the smallest and fastest of Columbus's three ships. This rum carries the name forward as a sweeter, softer part of the range.

    Expert description

Ron Cristobal Niña is a Rum from the Dominican Republic, matured 8 to 12 years and bottled at 40%.

The rum is named after Niña, one of the three ships Christopher Columbus used to cross the Atlantic in 1492. It is produced by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, the Dominican Republic's largest alcohol producer, which grows its own sugar cane, ensuring the rum is made exclusively from Dominican crops. The company was founded in 2007 when two Dominican families, each with their own rum production, joined forces.
