Two countries, one blend. Caribbean Blend brings together rum from Guyana and the Dominican Republic through a solera-like process, showing what happens when two very different rum traditions meet.
Expert Description
RomDeLuxe Selected Series Rum no. 4 Caribbean Blend is a Caribbean Rum blended from rum from Guyana and the Dominican Republic, aged 12 years through a solera process and bottled at 42%.
The blend unites the heavy, molasses-driven character of Guyanese rum with the softer, cleaner style of Dominican rum, all cask-aged in American ex-bourbon casks. The solera process means younger and older rum are continuously blended together, giving a consistent, deeply complex character. RomDeLuxe selected this combination as the fourth release in the house's Selected Series to show how two rum nations' styles can reinforce each other in a single bottle.
The result is a sweet but well-balanced rum, where caramel and burnt wood provide richness without becoming overwhelming.

Caribbean Blend is one of the few RomDeLuxe bottlings that deliberately blends rum from two different countries instead of highlighting a single distillery, an approach that shows the house's willingness to experiment beyond the classic single cask philosophy.
