The rum comes from an unnamed distillery in Jamaica and was distilled in 2005 in a Forsyth pot still. After distillation, the rum was aged in a former bourbon barrel for 17 years until bottling in October 2022. The rum is round and flavorful with lots of Jamaican funk and notes of dried fruit, leather, overripe bananas, rock candy, iodine and spices.
