R&G Rolland Galarreta 2014 Rioja is a Red Wine from Rioja, Spain made from 100% Tempranillo, bottled at 14% ABV.
The grapes are selected using Vistalys, an optical sorting technology from Bucher Vaslin, which ensures only perfect grapes proceed in the process. The stems are removed without crushing the grapes, and the wine ages in total for 10 months in new American oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Lively and delicate with liquorice and fresh Tempranillo fruit aromas, alongside spiced elements and fruit compote.
Palate
Elegant and complex with soft tannins, liquorice and a velvety structure.
Finish
Long, delicious and persistent.
Serving & Food Pairing
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass. Pairs especially well with red steaks, such as ribeye.
