Persico Peach Liqueur is a German Fruit liqueur based on peaches, bottled at 25% ABV.
This bottle comes from the German Spezialitäten-Brennereien Friedr. Schwarze and carries the designation "Alt-Berliner Spezialität" (Old Berlin Specialty). The Persico style dates back to around 1870, when it became a fixture of Berlin's bar and café culture as a stone-fruit liqueur flavoured with bitter almond and apricot kernel, and "Sauern mit Persico" - sour cherry liqueur served with Persico - was for decades a classic pairing in Berlin's taverns.
