Penelope Barrel Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey is bottled directly at barrel strength with no added water, giving a more concentrated and powerful version of the house battings, bottled at 57%. Penelope Bourbon was founded in 2018 by Mike Paladini and childhood friend Danny Polisse to celebrate the birth of Paladini's daughter, Penelope. The whiskey is distilled at MGP's historic distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, founded in 1847, as well as at Bardstown Bourbon Company in Kentucky, and is then composed as battings of several cask types.
