Norrbottens Destilleri Rhubarb Pie is a Swedish spirit drink bottled at 15% ABV.
The bottle comes from Norrbottens Destilleri in Töre, a small distillery in Norrbotten close to the Arctic Circle along Sweden's northern coast. The distillery was founded in 2016 by Dennis Bejedal, a self-taught distiller born in Stockholm who is now based in the village of Pålänge, home to roughly 400 people. He was formerly a professional poker player before distilling flavour and aroma became his consuming passion. Every bottle from the distillery is hand-dipped in wax.
Rhubarb Pie is a limited edition release built around cold-pressed rhubarb, used generously to bring out a fresh, tart rhubarb character, rounded off with a soft note of vanilla. The result is a fruity, versatile liqueur that works over ice, in a Spritz, or as a flavouring in cocktails.
