    Expert description

Nc'nean Huntress Lemon Meadow Organic Single Highland Malt Whisky is an aromatic edition of the distillery's whisky, bottled at 48.5%. Nc'nean Distillery was founded by Annabel Thomas, who left her job in London in 2013 and spent four years raising capital and building the distillery from scratch on the Morvern peninsula on Scotland's west coast. The distillery opened in 2017 and helped pioneer an organic, sustainable approach to whisky production, becoming the first in the UK to reach net-zero carbon emissions in its whisky production. The name Nc'nean comes from Neachneohain, a Gaelic legend meaning 'Queen of Spirits'.
