Mossburn 12 Year Old Foursquare Rum Finish is a Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whisky finished in casks from the Foursquare distillery in Barbados, bottled at cask strength 57.7%.

The whisky began life as a classic Speyside blended malt, matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, before being moved into American oak casks that had previously held matured Foursquare rum – barrels hand-selected directly at the distillery in St. Philip.

Tasting Notes

Nose

The nose offers dark cane sugar, molasses and banana.

Palate

On the palate there is ripe banana and tropical sweetness, while caramelised sugar adds a final twist.

Finish

The finish is warm and sweet.
