Sven Forkbeard is a powerful and distinctive mead, brewed with Nordic meadowsweet and sloe berries. The tartness of the sloe adds a bright, fruity profile and gives the impression of a dry mead with character. Meadowsweet emerges clearly in the finish, offering a lingering spicy touch, while the oak provides warmth and depth.

This mead is the third release in Mjødgård’s Royal Mead Series, and each bottle comes with a beautifully illustrated 10-page booklet that tells the story of the entire collection – a tribute to Nordic history and flavour.
