Mez-Clado Nyt År Edition is a Danish Blended Rum aged in American oak casks and bottled at 40%.

It is a blend of rums from different origins, matured for 7 to 10 years in American oak casks. The casks bring the soft warmth and the caramel depth, while the blend keeps the tropical, slightly off-centre side alive. Nyt År is Danish for New Year, and this edition is limited to about 2100 bottles, presented in a decanter-style bottle with a wooden stopper.

Mez-Clado is a Danish blending house from Middelfart. The name means mixture in Spanish, and the mixing is the whole point: finding the right rum styles and putting them together into something that tastes of more than the sum of its parts.
