Loch Lomond Signature is a Blended Scotch Whisky matured in oloroso casks and re-charred American bourbon casks and bottled at 40%.

The whisky is built on a solera system of 100 casks, where malt and grain whisky from the distillery are continuously blended and replenished. The combination of ex-oloroso sherry casks and re-charred American oak gives the whisky a round, fruity sweetness with a sherried edge.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Sweet and fruity with round vanilla, butterscotch and toffee, plus a light sherried tinge and baked apple.

Palate

Honey and vanilla with a shell of black pepper, apple fruitiness, ripe pears, cinnamon, ginger and dark sugar.

Finish

Baked apple and toffee that turn slightly bitter at the edges, with a hint of lemon towards the end.
