About KEW Gin:

London The Distillery Company produces a special gin in collaboration with The Royal Botanic Gardens: KEW Royal Organic Gin. This gin is produced using organic herbs from Kew Gardens in London, and apparently it has been difficult to limit itself once access to the botanical gardens was granted. The gin contains 44 botanicals, 27 of which come from Kew Gardens.

The London The Distillery Company in Bermondsey, London produces Dodd's and Kew Organic gin, both of which are innovative and pioneering brands in both expression and production. The London The Distillery Company was established with an ambition to bring whisky production back to London after the town's last whisky distillery closed more than a century ago. That ambition still lives on, and while the whisky matures in the casks, gin is produced in honor of a 19th century engineer, Ralph Dodd. Dodd attempted in 1807 to establish a distillery that would produce quality spirits for a people who had to quench their thirst with questionable - sometimes deadly - drinks. The mission never succeeded, so the team behind The London Distillery Company decided to complete the mission by producing Dodd's, Kew and the whisky we have to wait for. There is a huge amount of experimentation behind all the products - both traditional and more innovative. For example, yeast strands have been worked on quite intensively, but the possibilities made possible by modern technology have also been explored. This includes the use of rotary evaporation.
