Crisp and alcohol-free sparkling Riesling from one of Rheingau's most respected producers - proof that you don't need alcohol to get genuine wine character in the glass.

    Expert's Description

Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Sparkling Riesling is an alcohol-free Sparkling Wine from Rheingau, Germany, made from Riesling with an alcohol content of 0%. Weingut Josef Leitz is run by Johannes Leitz, who took over the family estate in 1985 with 2.6 hectares and has since expanded it to over 40 hectares, making the house one of Rheingau's leading producers. The grapes are grown, harvested and fermented like regular wine, after which a gentle vacuum distillation removes the alcohol while preserving classic wine characteristics - carbonation is then added back to recreate the bubbles.
