In Vilanova, a small fishing village outside Barcelona, the Giró family has distilled spirits since 1835, and Le Tribute is their tribute to the citrus abundance found along the Spanish coast.

Le Tribute Gin is a Spanish gin distilled by MG Destilerias and bottled at 43%.
The distillery was founded in 1835 and is one of the oldest in Spain, still family-run and based in the small fishing village of Vilanova, around 50km from Barcelona.
Ten botanicals go into the recipe, eight of which are citrus fruits: lime, orange peel, kumquat, lemon peel (used twice), mandarin, pink and green grapefruit, and lemongrass, with juniper and cardamom making up the rest.
Each botanical group is distilled separately over seven distillations, after which the master distiller blends them together following the Giró family's original recipe.

Nose
The nose is intensely citrus-filled with clear grapefruit and mandarin.
Palate
The palate is fresh and citrus-driven with juniper and a light spiced cardamom note.
Finish
The finish is long and citrus-filled.
