Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask Matured Single Malt Taiwan Whisky 40% has a soft, fruity and rounded character created through maturation in three different types of sherry casks: Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel. The warm, humid climate in Taiwan drives a fast and intense maturation that is clearly reflected in both aroma and taste.
The aroma is rich and sweet with notes of raisins, dark berries, figs and plums. Oloroso adds nuttiness and depth, PX contributes syrupy sweetness and dried fruit, while Moscatel brings floral and lightly grape‑like tones. Behind it all lie hints of caramel, honey and gentle oak that tie the profile together.
The taste is round, full and harmonious. The three sherry types create layers of chocolate, vanilla, red berries, caramel and a mild spicy warmth.
