Isle of Fionia La Plume is an organic Danish Single Malt Whisky bottled at 57.3%. Distilled at Isle of Fionia / Nyborg Distillery in the historic DSB train depot in Nyborg, Funen, La Plume is bottled at cask strength and gives access to a more unmediated expression of the distillery's character. Made from 100% organic barley and distilled in copper pot stills. Bottled with natural colour and without chill filtration.

Tasting notes

Nose

Fresh and fruity with a well-formed malt base. Light notes of vanilla and gentle caramel, plus a fresh fruity depth from the cask.

Palate

Full and warm with the characteristic organic malt body. Concentrated with a delicate balance between oak sweetness and light fruity acidity.

Finish

Medium to long with a warm oak note and a lasting malt impression.
