Sometimes all it takes is a single sip to spark curiosity. This little twin pack holds two very different sides of Graham's, one young and fruity, one shaped by years in oak.
Expert's Description
Graham's Twin Pack is a set of two miniature bottles of Portuguese Port from the Douro Valley, each 5 cl and bottled at 20%.
The pack holds a Late Bottled Vintage style Port, dark and berry-driven, alongside a 10 year old tawny, where ageing in oak has produced a nutty, golden character. The two bottles show two of the classic directions within Port: the unadulterated, fruity ruby style and the slowly oxidised tawny style.
Graham's was founded in 1820 by brothers William and John Graham and has belonged to the Symington family's Port houses since 1970. The Twin Pack is the house's take on a small, easy introduction to two of the most distinct styles in the range.
Tasting Notes
Nose
One bottle's aroma offers dark forest berries and a touch of spice, while the other offers nuts, honey and fig.
Palate
The palate ranges from sweet and berry-driven with firm tannins to softly sweet and nutty with mature, medium-aged fruit.
Finish
Both close with a long, velvety finish, though with very different character, one fresh and fruity, the other warm and nutty.

Did You Know?
The two miniatures in the Twin Pack are meant as a taste test before committing to a full bottle: one shows the dark, berry-driven style most people associate with Port, while the other shows what years in oak do to the very same grapes.
