Not every Port evening calls for a full bottle. In the half-size format, Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny comes in a size built for a quiet afternoon with one or two glasses, without the rest of the bottle waiting around too long.
Expert's Description
Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny Port is a Portuguese Aged Tawny Port from the Douro Valley, aged in oak casks for around 10 years and bottled at 20% in a 37.5cl bottle.
The wine is identical to the house's 10 Year Old Tawny in 75cl, simply bottled in the smaller format. That makes it a good option as a gift or for anyone wanting to try the style without committing to a full bottle.
As with the house's other aged Tawny Ports, the 10 years is an average expression of a blend of casks of varying ages, put together by Graham's cellar master.

Did You Know?
The half-bottle (37.5cl) has historically been popular for Port and dessert wines, because an opened Tawny keeps well thanks to its long cask ageing — but a smaller format means there's always a fresh bottle on hand without opening a full 75cl at once.
