Few liqueurs have a name as romantic as Parfait Amour - "perfect love" - and its deep violet colour combined with a soft floral-citrus aroma fully lives up to the name.

    Ekspertens beskrivelse

Giffard's Parfait Amour is a French herbal and floral liqueur at 25% ABV, produced by Giffard in Angers from violets, citrus and spices.

Giffard is a French family-owned liqueur house from Angers in the Loire Valley, founded in 1885 by the pharmacist and herbalist Émile Giffard, who invented a white mint liqueur with digestive properties. Its success led him to convert his pharmacy into a distillery, and today - five generations later - the house is still family-run, producing more than 60 fruit and herbal liqueurs and syrups for bartenders around the world. Parfait Amour is one of the oldest liqueur styles, originally popular in the Victorian era, and is made by combining violet flowers with citrus peel and warm spices, giving the liqueur its characteristic purple colour and complex aroma.

    Smag

The nose is floral and exotic with clear violet, citrus and a hint of spices such as coriander and vanilla. The palate is soft and perfumed with a delicate sweetness that glides elegantly into a lightly spiced, aromatic finish.
