Giffard is a French family-owned liqueur house from Angers in the Loire Valley, founded in 1885 by the pharmacist and herbalist Émile Giffard, who invented a white mint liqueur with digestive properties. Its success led him to convert his pharmacy into a distillery, and today - five generations later - the house is still family-run, producing more than 60 fruit and herbal liqueurs and syrups for bartenders around the world. The Mangue Tropic liqueur is made from sun-ripened mango, giving it a full, tropical sweetness, and is part of the house's range of exotic fruit liqueurs developed to give bartenders a reliable, clean flavour source for tropical cocktails.
