From Dijon in Burgundy, home of France's most famous berry liqueurs, comes this deep liqueur made from wild blackberries.

    Expert description

Gabriel Boudier Crème de Mûres Sauvages is a French Fruit liqueur based on wild blackberries, bottled at 20%.

The house of Gabriel Boudier dates back to 1874, when it was originally founded under the name Fontbonne in Dijon. In 1909, Gabriel Boudier took over the business and gave it his own name, and since 1936 the Battault family has carried on the tradition of making high-quality berry liqueurs, including the world-famous Crème de Cassis de Dijon. Crème de Mûres Sauvages is the house's take on the classic French berry liqueur, this time based on wild blackberries instead of blackcurrants.

    Taste

The nose is deep and berry-driven with wild blackberries. On the palate, Gabriel Boudier Crème de Mûres Sauvages is intensely fruity with a fine balance of sweetness and acidity, while the finish is velvety and full.
