The distillery was ready for the grand opening in July 2014 and has since produced lots of lovely råsprit and the wait has been really long - a full 6.5 years have been spent finding the right combination of casks, fine-tuning the mix of bourbon and sherry casks. So now there are 15,950 bottles ready of the first Single Malt Whisky from Ardnamurchan.

About Ardnamurchan Distillery:

The west coast of the UK - and Scotland - has a new tourist attraction. On the windswept peninsula Ardnamurchan in the far west of Scotland, the independent bottler Adelphi fronted by Alex Bruce has built a new distillery. The site is called Glenbeg and is beautifully situated overlooking the waters of Glenmore Bay to the Isle of Mull. The name is, unsurprisingly, Ardnamurchan Distillery, and it's an impressive story by any measure. From the conception of the idea to the realization of the project, seven years of dedicated work have passed. The distillery was ready for its grand opening in July 2014 and has since produced lots of lovely råsprit.
