Errazuriz Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is a Red Wine from Chile made from a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot, bottled at 13.5% ABV.
The wine comes from the Aconcagua Valley, one of Chile's most respected regions for Cabernet Sauvignon, and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The Max Reserva range is known as one of the most popular in Errázuriz's portfolio, with a full-bodied, approachable style.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Red berries such as raspberry and blackcurrant, cherry, tobacco and a hint of mint and spiced chocolate.
Palate
Full-bodied with dark cherry, blackberry, redcurrant and green bell pepper, supported by minerality and fine tannins.
Finish
Long and well-balanced with notes of sweet pastry and nuts.
Serving & Food Pairing
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass. Pairs with roast beef, lamb and mature cheeses.
