Edradour 2011/2023 Burgundy Casks 12 years old is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in 1st fill Burgundy hogsheads and bottled at 48.2%.

The whisky was distilled in March 2011 and matured for 12 years across eight 1st fill Burgundy casks, numbers 92 to 101, before being bottled in December 2023. The Burgundy casks' light, red fruit character gives the whisky a fresh, almost delicate profile that sets it apart from Edradour's sherry-matured releases. 2,840 bottles were released.

Tasting notes

Nose

Fresh red berries and a hint of rhubarb, with a lightly floral apple blossom scent underneath.

Palate

Fresh and fruity with raspberry and a touch of pepper, supported by Edradour's soft, honeyed malt.

Finish

Short to medium in length with a dry, lightly spiced finish and a lingering fruitiness.
