Edinburgh Raspberry Gin Liqueur is a Scottish gin liqueur built on Edinburgh Gin, bottled at 20%.
The liqueur is made by steeping raspberries from Perthshire in Edinburgh Gin, then sweetening with cane sugar syrup.
This was the distillery's very first product, launched in 2011, and has since won a Bronze medal at the World Gin Awards.
Beneath the intensely fruity raspberry tones, a clear imprint of classic botanicals such as pine, lavender and sage remains.
Tasting notes
Nose
The nose offers an aromatic fresh punnet of raspberries with strong botanical aromas of pine, lavender, camphor and sage.
Palate
The palate is sweet, slightly syrupy and intensely flavoured, with animated raspberry juice backed and made more complex by subtle botanical notes.
Finish
The finish is thyme-influenced raspberry with lingering pine and lavender.
