In the hills outside Turin, where Piedmont's vineyards meet the golden light of evening, Cucielo Bianco was created as a bright, floral interpretation of Italy's aperitivo culture. Here, fresh herbs and white wine come together in a glass that celebrates moments when time is allowed to fly.
Expert's Description
Cucielo Vermouth di Torino Bianco is an Italian Vermouth based on white wine with 16.8% alcohol, produced at Torino Distillati in Moncalieri, Piedmont.
The brand was founded in 2018 by Andy Holmes, CEO of Artisan Spirits, working alongside master blender Carlo Vergnano, with Bianco and Rosso as the house's first two releases. The name Cucielo combines the Italian words cuculo, cuckoo, and cielo, sky.
Cucielo Bianco is made following the techniques underpinning the Vermouth di Torino designation, recognised as a protected EU appellation in 2017.
