Clément Rhum Vieux Agricole Select Barrel is a Martinique Rhum Agricole selected from particularly characterful casks and bottled at 40%.

Like the other Vieux expressions from Clément, the rum is distilled from fresh cane juice at Habitation Clément in Le François, then aged in French oak casks under Martinique's tropical climate. Select Barrel differs in that the finished product is assembled from casks chosen specifically for their balance of fruit, spice and wood, a process that gives a more approachable and softer style than the more uncompromising VSOP.

The result is a rum that retains the green, herbal cane character but with a rounder, more relaxed presentation thanks to the careful cask selection.
